StorySheet Terms of Use

Developer: Michael Nicolaro and FinnsMedia

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the StorySheet application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

2. Description of Service

StorySheet provides tools for creating, managing, organizing, captioning, editing, exporting, printing, and sharing visual stories using photos, short videos, text, and related content, including but not limited to:

Photo and short-video selection and organization
Captions, labels, notes, and storytelling text
StorySheet layouts and backgrounds
Markup tools such as arrows, circles, squares, and highlighting
PDF, image, and supported media export
Printing, email, and sharing through supported third-party services
Optional image and media metadata display

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate and appropriate content
Use the App in a lawful manner
Respect the rights, privacy, and intellectual property of others
Not upload or share harmful, offensive, illegal, or unauthorized material

You are solely responsible for any content you upload, create, export, print, post, or share.

4. User-Generated Content

The App allows users to upload, organize, caption, edit, mark up, export, print, and share photos, short videos, text, and related data.

By submitting content, you:

Grant Michael Nicolaro and FinnsMedia a limited license to process, store, and display such content as necessary to provide App functionality
Confirm that you have the right to use, edit, and share that content

Michael Nicolaro and FinnsMedia do not guarantee monitoring of user content and are not responsible for user submissions.

5. Data Storage and Retention

Photos, videos, StorySheets, exports, and related data may be stored temporarily using third-party services, such as cloud storage providers
Content may be automatically deleted after a defined retention period, including periods as short as 7 days where applicable
Users are responsible for retaining their own copies of important content and exported files

Michael Nicolaro and FinnsMedia are not responsible for lost, deleted, or inaccessible data.

6. Third-Party Services and Social Sharing

The App may rely on or interact with third-party services, including cloud storage, email, printing, notifications, Apple platform services, and supported social-media or sharing platforms.

Michael Nicolaro and FinnsMedia:

Do not control third-party services
Are not responsible for their availability, performance, terms, privacy practices, or data handling
Are not responsible for content after you choose to export or share it to a third-party service

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

Reliability
Availability
Accuracy
Fitness for a particular purpose

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Michael Nicolaro and FinnsMedia shall not be liable for any:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of photos, videos, data, content, or access
Printing, formatting, posting, sharing, or export errors
Changes, restrictions, or failures involving third-party platforms

If liability is found, it shall not exceed the amount paid by the user, if any, for use of the App.

9. Modifications

Michael Nicolaro and FinnsMedia reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App at any time for violations of these Terms or for operational, legal, or security reasons.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by applicable laws of the United States and the laws of the state in which FinnsMedia operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
